Based on 1 review
Product Code D-D3H1-N45
Pull Force* 0.1170kg
Weight 1gr
Gauss 3798
Grade N45
Coating Nickel (Ni)
Direction of Magnetisation Through Height
*Measured against up to 10mm mild steel.

This rare earth disc has a pull force of 117 grams, a diameter of 3mm and a height of 1mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 3798 Gauss.

This tiny Disc shaped N45 Grade magnet is deceptively strong for its size and can hold many times its own weight. Because of that power to weight ratio, these magnets are important components for manufacturers of hi-tech electronic devices and sound and telecommunications equipment. Delicate holding requirements in jewellery design or model-making applications are also where these small discs rise to the occasion, because they can attract and bond two surfaces together, inconspicuously and unobtrusively. Two discs can be glued in place or fitted into slots in each surface and configured so the opposing poles attract to each other, providing a simple pull-to-release type of attachment.

These tiny discs are very inexpensive and can provide a unique and repeatable fastening solution for many bespoke designs and for a multitude of purposes where they do their job brilliantly, without being seen.
