Based in Brisbane, Frenergy Magnets is an Australian company offering various shapes and sizes of Neodymium Rare Earth magnets, including circular disc shaped magnets. Most of our magnets range between grades N35 to the most powerful grade N52.
Thousands of our smaller disc magnets are used for the assembly of Warhammers, as well as arts and crafts, like fridge magnets, magnetic locks for jewellery boxes, magnetic chopping boards, or school and university projects for electro-magnetic train experiments. Some of our powerful Rare Earth disc magnets have also been used in the mining industry for detecting metal, as well as in Medicine as part of RMI machinery. Disc magnets are also great for adhereing paper on fridges or office cabinets.
We supply the smallest sized magnets you can get, starting at 2mm and go all the way up to 100mm in diameter. From 0.79mm to 50mm in thickness. With our extensive range of disc magnet sizes in stock, Frenergy Magnets is very popular with hobbyists, and the metalworking industry. Most of our magnets are Nickel-coated (Ni) but some of them are Gold-coated (Au) and Parylene C coated. Nickel-coating is a shiny silver looking finish and is the most durable coating for long lasting magnets. Parylene C coating is very good for magnets used in wet or damp environment, as this coating is made for anti-corrosiveness and water-resistance, unlike Nickel or Gold. We customise Parylene C coating magnets for customers whom normally work in food and beverage industries, as well as in marine ecology.
Most of our listed magnets are rated to withstand temperatures of up to 80 degree Celsius, unless otherwise stated. Should you require a higher working temperature grade magnets, please contact us.
